Browser storage

What website cookies are

Cookies are small pieces of information that a website can ask a browser to store. A cookie can remember a language choice, keep an account session active or associate a visit with an analytics tool. Different cookies have different purposes and lifetimes: some remain only during a browsing session, while others persist until they expire or are deleted.

Browsers can also retain cached documents and images so a page opens more efficiently on a later visit. A cached image is not necessarily a cookie. The distinction matters because deleting cookies and clearing cached content are separate controls in many browsers. The Dieselwin Walkthrough pages consist of HTML documents and a shared CSS file, so they can be read without a login session or a remembered visitor preference.

No cookies, tracking or consent banner here

Dieselwin Walkthrough does not use cookies for advertising, analytics, personalisation or visitor accounts. The website contains no third-party advertising tags, marketing scripts, embedded video players or social-media tracking widgets. Its navigation is provided by standard links and native browser controls. The structured page information in JSON-LD is text for machine-readable page descriptions, not a tracking programme.

Because the site does not set cookies, it does not display a cookie-consent banner or offer a separate cookie-preferences account. Readers can access the information without accepting behavioural advertising or creating a login. This statement concerns cookies set by the informational pages themselves; it does not describe the technologies that unrelated websites may use after a reader follows an external link.

External sites manage their own cookies

Some pages include links to GamCare and other UK public-service organisations. They are separate organisations with their own websites. Opening one of those destinations moves the visitor from this independent guide to a different service, where cookies and other browser storage may be used for that service’s functions. Its privacy or cookie information is the relevant explanation of those practices.

Dieselwin Walkthrough does not embed content from those organisations and does not load their tracking technology within its own pages. The links are ordinary navigational links rather than advertising connections or gambling account referrals. Visitors can review any cookie notices shown by the destination and adjust their preferences through the controls that destination offers. The destination controls its own browser storage.

Controlling cookies in common browsers

Modern browsers include controls for viewing, deleting or blocking cookies. In Chrome and Edge, cookie controls are generally grouped under privacy or site-data settings. Firefox provides comparable controls in Privacy & Security; Safari offers website-data controls within its privacy settings. The exact labels can vary with the browser version and device.

Deleting a site’s cookies may sign the user out of that separate site or remove remembered preferences. Clearing a cache can remove stored copies of pages and pictures, but it need not delete a browser’s history. Blocking all cookies can affect websites that depend on account sessions. These choices are managed by the reader’s browser. They do not alter the content, links or independent editorial role of Dieselwin Walkthrough.
